Real experience

We were surprised after reading some of the previous reviews, but we had a lovely experience. It was fun and lively. Staff was attentive and courteous, though very busy. I love the decor and many options for seating, outside, upstairs and downstairs. Food was great, even with a seafood allergy, there were other good options to choose from. Drinks were awesome, we loved the orange and grapefruit crush.

Christina was the hostess and she was great, we walked inside and it was packed. She got my number but noticed a table opened and went back to clean it; afterwards we were sat immediately. We ordered the calamari, 1of each of the 5 oysters they had to choose from, lobster and crab Mac and seafood linguine. The lobster and crab Mac was not great, but with a little old bay, it was better. The seafood linguine was amazing. Plenty of shrimp, mussels, lobster and crab. I didn’t get our waitress’s name, but she was great.

I rate the Oyster House in Wilmington as the #1 eatery in this area. The experience is like taking a mini-vacation! The atmosphere, food and waitstaff are excellent!! Get the u-peel shrimp and crab dip for sure. The oysters are fresh and clean. They serve several types and all were great. We enjoy having a meal and casually mingling with the entertainment.

There’s a lot of open-air seating and an occasional slow moving train rumbles thru to give you a true city-feel. Their food and drinks are absolutely amazing. Everyone I was with thoroughly enjoyed. Keep in mind they do get busy so if you’re coming for a table, I recommend reserving. And they’re on the pricier side, but the food is definitely worth it!

Food was great, even with a seafood allergy, there were other good options to choose from. Drinks were awesome, we loved the orange and grapefruit crush. I really enjoyed this place. The casual atmosphere was comfortable. There is an inside and outside bar. I ordered their creamsicle crush drink… yummy. $3 off on Crush drinks on Sundays. Also ordered the fish and chips. The fish was cooked perfectly. The chips were french fry’s, but were still good with it. Good job!

I’m surprised there isn’t a line out this door! Food is amazing! The happy hour $1 oysters are HUGE AND FRESH with no limit of how much you can order! Our waitress (Kaitlyn) was amazing and so welcoming! This place is definitely a hidden gem in Delaware I spent more money at 4-5 star restaurant and had the same quality and atmosphere! Over all a great restaurant experience with high quality food! 100/10

My first time eating at the Oyster House. It didn’t disappoint. My cousin is a local so we hit it up. I’ve had lobster rolls from Florida to Rhode Island so I had to try theirs. It was amazing. Beers were great. Really great vibe and it was pouring out. Perfect spot for anyone to grab a beer and some food and people watch and watch a game. Can’t wait to go back!
